628 Broadway St
Paducah, KY 42001

The lights dim, the voices lower to a murmur and the screen illuminates the theatre – cascading up into the tall ceilings of this historic building…

The Columbia Theatre is a Paducah landmark, a staple of our downtown’s main street. Make a date night of it and join us Saturday, June 11 for an unforgettable evening of celebrating the revival of this one-of-a-kind building!

We have scoured this old theatre for all of the most intriguing, beautiful, delicate and story-telling pieces of history we can find and we will have it all ready for YOU to come and create your own story of the Columbia Theatre.

Come on your own, bring a friend or make a date night out of it!

We’ll take old drawers rescued from the old back rooms of the Columbia, fabric remnants from the luscious velvet curtains, strips of film, movie tickets, pay stubs AND anything you decide to bring in as well. Add in lots of other vintage memorabilia, metal what-nots and lots of paper ephemera…With these materials, we will create your very own Columbia Theatre historic piece!

We know this will surely stir up some nostalgic feelings of when you and your sweetie used to frequent the comfy seats of a dark movie theatre to get lost in a cinematic story, so we’ll of course, be serving up some Coca-Cola, a nice movie theatre brew, classic snacks and popping some buttery popcorn for you to enjoy while you create!

We are excited to be a part of restoring this beautiful building and can’t wait for you to join us for this one-of-a-kind evening!
